Children's Ministry

Infant

In our Nursery, we seek to reflect the love of Jesus as we minister to the body, heart and spirit of the "little ones" in our care. Nursery ministry takes place every Sunday morning for infants 0 - 4yrs from 8:00am - 12 noon in Room 103.

Grades Pre-K thru 4th

9:45am Sunday Mornings
Our goal is to prepare children to make the RIGHT decisions as they head UP the stairs and out the doors of our church each week.

This is a place where kids will learn 3 BASIC TRUTHS that will prepare them for their lives:

  1. I need to make the WISE choice.
  2. I can TRUST God no matter what.
  3. I should treat OTHERS the way I want to be treated.
The gathering includes opening music and kid friendly teaching of God's word with hands-on Bible curriculum.

Gathering Schedule:

  • "Plug-In" (9:45 am sharp) - Attendance, 15 min preview of the lesson for the day!
  • "Power-Up" - All Pre-K - 4th grade head to the gym for active singing & drama presentations of the Bible Lesson!
  • "Catch-On" - Kids go back to their classrooms for a follow up of the Bible Lesson that include games & crafts to reinforce the lesson!
  • "Parent Pickup" - Parents are asked to promptly pick up their children following the 2nd Worship Service.

**Pre-School Children ages 2-3 yrs will stay in their room for activities & lessons & will visit the Power UP presentations once a month or as each drama provides appropriate for their understanding.

Route 56
Route 56, is a ministry designed for our 5th & 6th Graders.  The goal of Route 56 is to lead our children to Christ and teach them how they can count on Him as they face daily challenges, all provided in an environment created especially for them!

Sunday 9:45 - 10:45am:
Students meet for an opening of snacks and social time. Lessons are interactive and fun.  It’s a fresh approach to relating to God's word and how applying it to the things kids need in life.

Sunday PM:
Kids meet every other week for a night of games, fun, field trips, and activities that encourages them to look to God's word to make the right choices. Quarterly schedules are posted and friends are always welcome.
